Gasoline Particulate Filter (GPF) is a new product developed based on high quality cordierite with uniform distribution and strong stability, low back pressure, good product consistency, excellent performance of mass and heat transfer as well as low cost., the wall flow structure was used to effectively capture particulate matter from gasoline engine exhaust, reduce NOx and PM/PN emissions.The catalytic oxidation of NO to NO2 through the catalyst coating assisted passive regeneration of GPF. Forced controllable active regeneration can also be performed under temperature supply conditions such as fuel injection combustion/burner.
Gasoline Particulate Filter (GPF) is designed for gasoline direct injection (GDI) engines to reduce particulate emissionscan meet Euro 6C emissions standard for gasoline vehicles. The GDI engines help improve fuel economy and therefore reduce NO2 emissions; but they have higher particulate emissions compared to multiport fuel injection engines. Gasoline Particulate Filter (GPF) use the same type of wall-flow substrates as diesel particulate filters and can be included in the exhaust system in addition to the series three-way catalyst or the catalyst coating can be directly applied to the filter substrate to form a four-way catalyst.
