Mount Mat 800NC as kind of flexible, less vermiculite, intumescent, catalytic converter substrate support mat made from Calcium Magnesium Silicate (AES) fiber conforming to the requirements of European laws as well as German workplace legislations is designed for improved resiliency, very good low temperature operating performance, and thermal stability with a continuous use temperature of 750°C.

Mount Mat 800NC catalytic converter support mat is designed for low to medium operating temperature applications including diesel particulate filters (DPFs), oxidation catalysts (DOCs) and selective catalytic reduction systems (SCRs) as well as gasoline oxidation catalysts, including ethanol (flex fuel) underbody converters.

Mount Mat 800NC as kind of flexible, less vermiculite, intumescent, automative catalytic converter substrate support mat made from Calcium Magnesium Silicate (AES) fiber that conforming to the requirements of European laws as well as German workplace legislations is designed to function as mechanical support for the ceramic substrate and act as an exhaust gas seal while providing thermal insulation.

Mount Mat 800NC is designed for high resiliency, substrate retention at low temperature conditions and excellent thermal stability with a continuous use temperature of 750°C. High erosion resistance could provide a robust performance without the need for wire mesh ring protection (for erosion) or heat treatment for additional holding force at low temperatures.

At low operating temperatures (less than 350°C), Mount Mat 800NC will behave as a non-intumescent mat, relying on its spring-like Calcium Magnesium Silicate (AES) fiber matrix to provide the holding force required for the system. At temperatures above 350°C, a second feature of the product is activated. Small amounts of vermiculite particles within the fiber matrix compensate for thermal gap expansion of the shell, thus providing additional holding force to the ceramic substrate.
